Color your thoughts

While I was looking for something interesting to write about, I found an article saying that our thoughts have colors. Since it seemed to be some interesting knowledge, I thought to share it with you.

Surprisingly, there are three types of thoughts just like the signal lights, that is to say, basically, our thoughts are either green, yellow, or red. let's take time to observe which color you are in.

Green thoughts

Just like the "go" signal, green thoughts radiate positive energy. They encourage us to move on and take risks to try new things. When your thoughts are green, you are more comfortable with yourself. Moreover, green thinkers are great achievers. They have a clear vision and enough determination to achieve their goal in life. Green is the color of our "heart Chakra" and thus, these thoughts allow us to think by heart.

Red thoughts

Angry, impatient, and terrifying thoughts are red. They keep you stuck in one particular situation and hold a gloomy perspective. Red thinkers are anxious and can 'create' obstacles even in a clear path with unnecessary worries. The lack of confidence caused by red alerts makes you a self-oriented person where survival instincts dominate. Red is the color of our "base or root chakra" and is predominantly fear-based.

Yellow thoughts

Yellow thoughts are neutral thoughts. These are a mixture of green and red thoughts and without being excessive. They allow us to feel peaceful or meditate without any green or red alerts. These are known as 'observer thoughts' since they allow us to evaluate red and green in the chatter in our heads. It makes you confident and more equipped to notice the situation running in your head.

Let's take a minute to decide the color in your thoughts. Then you can take charge and decide the color mixture of your own life. Begin to practice these steps to take charge of your inner coloring.

  • start to notice the color of your thoughts
  • be aware at any given moment of which colors you are creating
  • practice changing the lens- move from red to yellow, then yellow to green

  1. This’s so interesting the way that it illustrates how human thoughts were categorized basically into three colors according to it’s different intellectual characteristics. We are aware of a tiny fraction of the thinking that goes on in our minds, and we can control only a tiny part of our conscious thoughts. The vast majority of our thinking efforts goes on subconsciously. According to this article most of my thoughts or the mindset goes with the colour yellow.

  2. I agree with the statement that our thoughts are coloured because, personally I have experienced such creativity in my mind. It is true that when something negative occurs it can be visualized and alerted as red in colour while, green would always generate positivity. The fact about neutral thoughts displayed in yellow is something new that I read today. As thoughts in our mind are uncontrollable to some extent, sharing such information about the capability to access and control our thoughts in a given situation for the betterment of ourselves can be regarded as valuable.

  3. This is very interesting, I mean how you have elaborated the classification of thoughts according to colors. Also, your end note sounds perfect."Let's take a minute to decide the color in your thoughts. Then you can take charge and decide the color mixture of your own life".As traffic lights are also very important to drive with safety,t is very important to consider colours. For instance, if we have green thoughts prioritized we see a clear road ahead, and if an obstacle appears can immediately begin to look for ways over around or through it. Also can react creatively within the moment in any situation.

  4. This is a novel classification of thoughts. Even I heard about this for the very first time - about this classification according to three colours. While reading your post I looked into my mind, and then I could visualise my thoughts in relation to these three colours according to the particular situations. So, I personally do agree with this. "Thoughts" are crucial in humans lives as every action of a man occurs as a result of the thoughts that he carries in his mind. So, always we must try to have green thoughts which occupy positivity, and , same way we must try to avoid red thoughts which are filled with anger and hatred. Also, when you notice that you have red thoughts, as in the above note- step by step, you must try to come to the yellow thoughts, and then to the green thoughts. Finally, it is evident that, as humans we must be aware of our thoughts since they can affect on our decisions; the decision which you take when you are in a red thought may be wrong.
