Environmental pollution causes for many negative results, such as climate change and number of diseases. This picture is an indication of man's riskful life resulting by deforestation. The foreground shows people face a struggle to have enough oxygen from artificial oxygen tanks. It is mainly because, they have destroyed natural resources which provide natural oxygen for breathing. The foreground, the buildings of this picture highlights natural environment has changed into an urban area. Hence, urbanisation can be seen as one of the major purposes of deforestation. In other hand, the tablet on man's hand points out technological development of man instead of morality as man doesn't love to environment and their major focus is on outward values. The mostly used color here is Ash. Using of this color can be seen as an attempt to indicate disappointment, negativity and futility of man's life. It is because usually Ash symbolizes pessimistic feelings. However, this picture specifies or warns about hardships people encounter in future dueto deforestation.
First of all I should say that this topic ' Deforestation ' should be widely discussed in modern society because people have totally forgotten the value of nature. The only focus of modern man is to develop thier technological skills and needs. In a way it can be said that technology has destroyed man's life. The mind sets of people have changed according to technology. As a result of that people have forgotten even the way how they breathe. For the selfish needs of people, they cut down the trees inhumanly. As result of deforestation the climactic changes happen, the life of wild animals have changed, the percentage of oxygen is reduced and there are many more effects of deforestation. All those results again threaten the lives of people. Unfortunately modern man is unable to understand that they are the ones who is going to suffer at the end of the day. In a way I feel like one of the main reasons for this is that people are morally degraded as a negative effect of development of technology.
ReplyDeleteThe earth is losing it's forests. Trees cover about 30% of the earth's surface but they are being destroyed at an alarming rate. Timber harvesting is a major reason for the destruction of the forests. Tress are used for building houses, making furniture and providing pulp for paper products such as newspapers and magazines. Another way that man is destroying the world's forests is by burning them down. The main reason for this is to clear the land for farming. We all should excite and worry about the loss of the forests.
ReplyDeleteHealthy trees are a vital part of the environment. They keep the balance of the atmosphere agreeable to all life forms. Furthermore, trees maintain the water cycle in the area. Without the tree cover the land is totally exposed to the agents of erosion such as heavy rainfall and strong winds. Therefore, if we cut down trees what is going to happen is that population won't stop growing but oxygen in the atmosphere will reduce.
Trees are the main things that give off oxygen. Without trees,we are not here. If you cut down a tree but plant two new ones that is fine. Even today we see that, due to 19 pandemic , affordable and sustainable access to oxygen has been growing challenge in low and middle income countries. For example, major hospitals in Delhi, the capital of India, have repeatedly come close to running out of oxygen which can help Covid -19 patients with the virus who need support with their breathing to stay alive. So, what if we cut down trees more and more ? The situation can be worst than this. So let's grow trees and contribute to protect the earth for future generations.🌍❤️
I agree with the argument drawn through this image which displays the microcosm of human world at present. It is well known that nature provides the most essential source for the living beings on earth, but due to the technological and industrial development mankind has come to an extent to believe that they are in-charge of everything. Since nature is taken for granted, deforestation can be regarded as its result which has affected human itself and yet being aware of the circumstances, they carry external oxygen tanks without failing to advance in technology. Therefore, this image proves that mankind has ended up being slaves of its own creation.
ReplyDeleteI think this picture sarcastically shows what man has done for mankind at the end. Undoubtedly, it does not matter although someone make laugh after looking at this picture; because, mother nature has given everything that need for everybody equally and freely. For instance, trees are like sources of breeding these free services (water, food, air, medicine etc.). Thus, is it correct to destroy these resources which supply everything for our existence? NO. That is the truth mankind misunderstood or did not understand yet. That is why this person in the above picture has to get Oxygen using such a gadget which is like touching nose rolling hand around the head. Although mother nature has shown the way of living, it is man who make that system upset especially by affecting to the aspects of nature; forests, rivers, and so on. Indeed, I do not think that the purpose of having a brain is this.Don't you think that we were received it for thinking about the interaction between man , nature and animals, importance of that connection and how to maintain that relationship? Don't you think that as a result of opposing this system man has to yield for life (oxygen) which is displaying through the present situation of New Delhi people in India, dyeing here and there which will be common issue for us, Sri Lankans in recent future as a country where the rate of deforestation is increasing rapidly day by day.Therefore, this is the time we have to think that protecting our forest percentage which is like the heart of the system of nature is NOT a rule or threat but it IS a responsibility or showing respect for the nature.
